Imagine If Monday, the most dreaded day of the week could actually take care of itself and fix the dreadful events surrounding it.
Dreadful events such as;
Important tasks getting lost in memory and notes.
Not knowing who’s supposed to do what.
Due dates catching you by surprise.
Not being sure if a job is almost finished or just starting.
Wasting hours manually doing the same tasks over and over.
Important information scattered and lost in chat folders.
Not knowing what task is done, what task is due, and what task is at risk.
Dreadful, right?
We at Gatemark, would say such a Monday definitely does exist and It goes by the simple name of Monday.com.
Thanks to it;
Work to be done is written on boards, not forgotten in emails and notes.
Tasks are assigned, and responsibilities are known to everyone.
Deadlines are visualized on Gantt charts and calendars, preventing sudden surprises.
Progress is no longer speculated upon, it is seen through real-time dashboards.
Comments, files, and updates are in one space, so communication isn’t scattered.
Automated warnings, reminders and notifications are given, for finished, and pending tasks.
Yet, just as there really can be no perfect Monday, this Monday also comes with its downsides.
Some of the dread can creep back in when;
⦁ Price feels too high, and cost scales quickly, as you add more users.
⦁ The number of features becomes overwhelming for new users to set up.
⦁ Past activities and specific changes become hard to track down in deep archives.
⦁ Some features are limited to higher, more expensive tiers.
⦁ The requirement is to pay for at least three users, even if you are a team of two.
⦁ The mobile app experience comes with limitations.
Overall, It isn’t perfect, but it’s a good choice towards making Monday, a day that can actually be handled.
